Sketch and Sip Offers Amateur Painters a Way to Unwind

A business graduate of the University of South Florida (USF), Trent Galen Sisco now works as a medical sales representative for a leading medical products supplier. While a student at USF, Trent Sisco served as a business school senator and vice president of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He also cofounded a business called Sketch and Sip, found on the Web at www.sketchandsip.com.

Located in Winthrop Plaza in Riverview, Florida, Sketch and Sip allows customers to unwind with friends while exploring their creative side. The business model is built around teaching beginners to complete a painting on a 16-by-20 inch gallery-wrap canvas. Each class focuses on a specific painting, which all the participants attempt to emulate by following a systematic process. High-quality acrylic paints, natural-hair brushes, and aprons are furnished.

Customers are invited to bring their own beverage, including wine, to enjoy while painting. Bottle openers and cups are provided. The company also offers activities for birthday parties for children 5 and older and hosts bridal showers and corporate events. Sketch and Sip studio hours are 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
